UK Ancestry Visa
Overview
The UK Ancestry Visa is available to Commonwealth citizens who have a grandparent born in the UK. It allows individuals to live and work in the UK for up to five years, with the possibility of applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR).
This visa allows adult relatives (such as parents or grandparents) of British citizens or settled persons to come to the UK if they require long-term care.
The applicant must demonstrate that they are reliant on their relative for long-term care and that adequate care cannot be provided in their home country.
