The Permitted Paid Engagement Visa allows professionals invited to the UK to take part in short-term paid engagements, such as artists, entertainers, academics, or experts invited to speak at a conference.

Applicants must show evidence of their invitation to the UK and demonstrate that the engagement is related to their area of expertise.

The visa is granted for up to one month and cannot be extended.

This visa allows a representative of an overseas business to establish a UK branch or subsidiary, or to represent the overseas business in the UK.

Applicants must be a senior employee or sole representative of the overseas business (news agents and media news only) and must not own more than 50% of the company.

The visa is valid for up to three years, with the possibility of an extension.
